Hegai
Fausset's Bible Dictionary
(Esther 2:3; Esther 2:8; Esther 2:15.) Eunuch, or chamberlain, in charge of the women of Ahasuerus' harem. Akin to the Sanskrit aja , "eunuch". Hegias is mentioned by the pagan Ctesias as of Xerxes' ("Ahasuerus") court.
