Comments: While swallows are flying, they suddenly descend on the water very quickly, drink a little water and continue flying again.

Swallow — Two words are so rendered: derôr - Strongs: H1866, "the swift flyer", which means the chimney swallow and other species akin to it Psalm 84:3 (Vulgate: Psalm 83); D.V., turtle; Proverbs 26:2; D.V., sparrow], whereas sûs - Strongs: H5483 or sîs may be translated as "swift", this bird being probably intended in Isaiah 38:14, and Jeremiah 8:7.
