Matthew 12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.Mark 2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.Luke 6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing [them] in [their] hands.
Matthew 12:2 But when the Pharisees saw [it], they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.Mark 2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?Luke 6:2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

Matthew 12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?Mark 2:26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?Luke 6:4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?
Matthew 12:5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? Matthew 12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is [one] greater than the temple. Matthew 12:7 But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Verses 9-14

Jesus heals a man’s hand on the Sabbath

Matthew 12:9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:Mark 3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; Luke 6:6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught:
Matthew 12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had [his] hand withered. and there was a man there which had a withered hand. and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.Mark 3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.Luke 6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.
Mark 3:3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.Luke 6:8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.
Matthew 12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift [it] out?Mark 3:4 And he saith unto them,Luke 6:9 Then said Jesus unto them,
Matthew 12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep?
Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace. I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy [it]?
Matthew 12:13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.Mark 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched [it] out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.Luke 6:10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
Matthew 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.Mark 3:6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.Luke 6:11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

Verses 15-21

Matthew 12:15 But when Jesus knew [it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;Mark 3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,
Mark 3:8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and [from] beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him. Mark 3:9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him. Mark 3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues. Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
Matthew 12:16 And charged them that they should not make him known:Mark 3:12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
Matthew 12:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. Matthew 12:19 He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. Matthew 12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. Matthew 12:21 And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Matthew 12:30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.Luke 11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.
Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy [against] the [Holy] Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the [world] to come.Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: Mark 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by [his] fruit. Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Verses 43-45
