NAS – Now when a large crowd was coming together, and those from the various cities were journeying to Him, He spoke by way of a parable:

NA26 – Συνιόντος (5752) δὲ ὄχλου πολλοῦ καὶ τῶν κατὰ πόλιν ἐπιπορευομένων (5740) πρὸς αὐτὸν εἶπεν (5627) διὰ παραβολῆς,

WH – συνιοντος (5723) δε οχλου πολλου και των κατα πολιν επιπορευομενων (5740) προς αυτον ειπεν (5627) δια παραβολης

NAS – Now His disciples {began} asking Him what this parable meant.

NA26 – Ἐπηρώτων (5707) δὲ αὐτὸν οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ τίς αὕτη εἴη (5751) ἡ παραβολή.

WH – επηρωτων (5707) δε αυτον οι μαθηται αυτου τις αυτη ειη (5722) η παραβολη

NAS – And He said, "To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest {they are told} in parables, so that while seeing they may not see, and while hearing they may not understand.

NA26 – ὁ δὲ εἶπεν, (5627) Ὑμῖν δέδοται (5769) γνῶναι (5629) τὰ μυστήρια τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ θεοῦ, τοῖς δὲ λοιποῖς ἐν παραβολαῖς, ἵνα βλέποντες (5723) μὴ βλέπωσιν (5725) καὶ ἀκούοντες (5723) μὴ συνιῶσιν. (5725)

WH – ο δε ειπεν (5627) υμιν δεδοται (5769) γνωναι (5629) τα μυστηρια της βασιλειας του θεου τοις δε λοιποις εν παραβολαις ινα βλεποντες (5723) μη βλεπωσιν (5725) και ακουοντες (5723) μη συνιωσιν (5725)
