to be present also or at the same time, Hp. VM 17, And. 1.12, X. Lac. 2.2, 12.3, etc.; freq. in Pap., PSI 5.509.8 (iii B.C.), etc.; of a desire, Sor. 1.38; of planets, occupy a position together, Vett.Val. 60.21.
2. stand by, come to help, τινι X. HG 4.6.1; ἐν ἔργοις Phld. Piet. 37; of an advocate, D. 24.158; act as one's representative, PRyl. 120.3 (ii A.D.), etc.

IV. 743.37 (B.C. 2) οὐκ ἠδυνάσθην συντυχεῖν Ἀπολλω (νίῳ), ib. VII. 1070.40 (iii/A.D.) ἐὰν οἶν [συ ]ντύχητε καὶ δόξῃ τι ὑμεῖν περὶ αὐτῶν, ";if therefore you meet and come to any conclusion about them"; (Ed.), and ib. Slightly different uses are seen in P Tebt I. 23.14 (c. B.C. 119 or 114) εἰ δέ τινα ἕξει [ς ] πρὸς αὐτὸν λόγον σὺν αὐτῶι σύντυχε ἡμῖν, ";if you have any grievance against him apply together with him to me"; (Edd.), and P Oxy XIV. 1672.17 (A.D. 37–41) Μ ̣ουν ̣α ̣τ ̣ι ̣ο ̣ς δὲ ὁ φίλος συντυχὼν ἔλεγεν συμ [πε ]φωνηκέναι τοῖς ἐκ τῆς κώ [μ ]η ̣ς αὐτοῦ, ";our friend Munatius said that he had agreed with the people of his village"; (Edd.).
