Vocabulary of the Greek NT

In connexion with the use of this verb in Romans 15:32 = ";rest along with,"; ";am refreshed in spirit with,"; it is worth recalling that in Eus. H.E. iv. 22. 2 Hegesippus is quoted as saying that he spent several days with the Corinthians, during which συνανεπάημεν τῷ ὀρθῷ λόγῳ, ";we were mutually refreshed in the true doctrine."; For a similar double compd προσαναπαύομαι see Sap 8:16.
