from all around, κ. ὁδὸς περίχει Lys. 7.28, cf. Hp. Fract. 33, Thphr. HP 4.6.10 (dub.l.), etc.: c. gen., LXX 3 Ki. 18.32, al., Revelation 4:3 : c. dat., LXX Ev 1 Kings 6:5 : spelt κύκλωθεν, IPE 12.175 (Olbia), and sts. in codd., but this spelling is condemned by Theognost. Can. 156, and arose from a supposed connexion with κύκλῳ.

κυκλόθεν εὐκάρποις κλωσὶν ἀγαλλόμενον.
Cf. also BGU IV. 1117.25 (B.C. 13), and the late P Lond V. 1686.16 (A.D. 565) κύκλωθεν (see Lob. Phryn. p. 9).
