שָׁחַר
(1) pr. apparently to break, to break forth, as light, the dawn, whence
(2) to break in, to pry in, hence to seek, compare בָּקַר No. 3. In Kal once found, Proverbs 11:27 see Piel.
Piel שִׁחַר to seek, a word altogether poetic. Followed by an acc. Job 7:21; Proverbs 7:15, 8:17 and לְ with an inf.
