רֶמֶשׂ m. a reptile, collect. reptiles, Genesis 1:26, 6:7 7:14, 23 often רֶמֶשׂ הָאֲדָמָה whatever creeps upon the ground, Genesis 1:25, 6:20 Hosea 2:20 comp. Deuteronomy 4:18. Once used of aquatic animals, Psalms 104:25. Of all land animals whatever, Genesis 9:3.
