צְעָדָה f.
(1) a going (of God), 2 Samuel 5:24.
(2) pl. stepping chains, Arab. مصعاد, which were worn by Oriental women fastened to the ancle-band (עֶכֶס) of each leg, so that they were forced to walk elegantly with short steps (טָפַף), Isaiah 3:20 compare אֶצְעָדָה.
