מֵצַח m. (it is not proved from Isaiah 48:4, to be also f.), with suff. מִצְחִי forehead, 1 Samuel 17:49. מֵצַח אִשָּׁה זוֹנָה “the (impudent) forehead of a harlot,” Jeremiah 3:3; Ezekiel 3:7, חִזִקֵי מֵצַח “of an impudent forehead;” verses Ezekiel 3:8, Ezekiel 3:9; Isaiah 48:4, מִצְחֲךָ נְחוּשָׁה “thy forehead (is) brass,” i.e. a brazen forehead.
