חָזוֹן m. (from the root חָזָה).
(1) a divine vision [“a vision, spoken of a divine vision or dream, Isaiah 29:7 specially a vision from God respecting future events, prophetic vision, Lamentations 2:9; Micah 3:6; Psalms 89:20 ”], Daniel 1:17, 8:1 9:24. Hence
(2) generally a divine revelation, 1 Samuel 3:1; 1 Chronicles 17:15; Proverbs 29:18.
(3) an oracle, often collectively (compare ὄραμα, Acts 12:5, 16:9 ), Isaiah 1:1; Obadiah 1:1; Nahum 1:1. [This reference is omitted very rightly in Thes.].
