גַּרְגְּרוֹת pl. f. throat, gullet (comp. gurges, Gurgel), i.q. גָּרוֹן, always, however, used of the outside of the neck. Proverbs 1:9, 3:3, 22 6:21. (Sing. גרגרת occurs in the Mishnah, Cholin ii. 4, iii. 3.)
