Vocabulary of the Greek NT

Mayor on James 1:6 suggests that the ἅπ. εἰρ. may have been coined by the writer, who is fond of -ίζω verbs. The suffix was at least as available for making a new verb in Hellenistic as its derivative -ize is in English. Of course the parallels in Grimm-Thayer are far later.
