John 9:13, Isaiah 50:9, al., and see παλαιός ), Luke 12:33, Hebrews 1:11 (LXX); τὸ παλαιούμενον , Hebrews 8:13 (where this and the act., v. supr., may have the sense of abrogate, v. LS, Zorell, s.v.).†

The subst. occurs in P Strass I. 22.30 (iii/A.D.) οὐδεμίαν παρείσδυσιν ἔχεις, ἡ γὰ ̣ρ ̣ γ ̣[υν ]η ̣̣ ἐν τῇ νομῇ γέγονεν ̣ πολλῷ χρόνῳ, ";you cannot creep in, for the woman has been in possession for a long time"; : the sense is just that of Judges 1:4 παρεισεδύησαν (2 aor. pass. for 2 aor. act., Blass Gr. p. 43) γάρ τινες ἄνθρωποι.
