φρόνημα, φρονηματος, τό (φρονέω, which see), what one has in mind, the thoughts and purposes (A. V. mind): Romans 8:6f, 27. (Hesychius φρόνημα. βούλημα, θέλημα. In various other senses also from Aeschylus down.)

χόρτασμα occurs in Act. 7:11 in the plur. = ";food,"; ";sustenance"; : cf. PSI IV. 354.5 (B.C. 254) ἑτοιμα ̣ζειν ἀγορὰν (";supplies";) καὶ χορτάσματα, ib. 400.15 (iii/B.C.) ὥστε καὶ τὰ κτήνη σου ἔχειν χορτάσματα δωρεάν, P Hamb I. 27.17 (B.C. 250) ὥστε λυσιτελεῖ μισθώσασθαι ἢ χορτάσματα ζητεῖν, and P Lond 1229.7 (A.D.145) ( = III. p. 142) ὑπὲρ τιμῆς χορτασμάτων.
