τετρά-πους, ὁ, ἡ, πουν, τό, gen. ποδος, pl. ποδα, four-footed, Hdt. 2.68, Pl. Ti. 92a; λεία τ. a booty of cattle, Plb. 4.75.7; τετράποδα ζῴδια, viz. Aries, Taurus, Leo, Sagittarius, Cat.Cod.Astr. 1.166: cf. τετράποδος.
