The use of προβιβάζω in the LXX = ";give instructions"; (e.g. Exodus 35:34, Deuteronomy 6:7) may be held to determine the translation ";being instructed"; for προβιβασθεῖσα in Matthew 14:3 : see Field Notes, p. 11, and add Musonius p. 60.5 προβιβάζειν νέους εἰς φιλοσοφίαν. In Kaibel 947.1 προβιβασθείς is used apparently with the literal meaning ";being led forward.";
