Wirz, Ludwig
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Protestant theologian, was born at Zurich in 1756, and died at Monch- Altdorf, in Switzerland, May 29, 1816. He is the author of, Helvetische Kirchengeschichte aus Hottinger's allterem Werke und andern Quellen neu bearbeitet (Zurich, 1808-14, 4 volumes). See Winer, Handbuch der theol. Lit. 1:809. (B.P.)
