Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born November 24, 1796, and died May 1, 1879, at Halle, doctor and professor of theology. He wrote, De Diei Dominici Apud Veteres Christianos Celebratione (Halle, 1826): — Geschichte der Hallischen Reformation (ibid. 1841).
