'Whom have you taunted and blasphemed? And against whom have you raised your voice, And haughtily raised your eyes? Against the Holy One of Israel!

"But it is still my comfort, And I rejoice in unsparing pain, That I have not denied the words of the Holy One.

For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol; You will not allow Your Holy One to undergo decay.

I will also praise You with a harp, And Your truth, my God; I will sing praises to You with the lyre, Holy One of Israel.

Again and again they tempted God, And pained the Holy One of Israel.

For our shield belongs to the LORD, And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

When they became envious of Moses in the camp, And of Aaron, the holy one of the LORD,

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Nor have I learned wisdom, Nor do I have the knowledge of the Holy One.

Oh, sinful nation, People weighed down with guilt, Offspring of evildoers, Sons who act corruptly! They have abandoned the LORD, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have turned away from Him.

Who say, "Let Him hurry, let Him do His work quickly, so that we may see it; And let the plan of the Holy One of Israel approach And come to pass, so that we may know it!"

Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble, And dry grass collapses in the flame, So their root will become like rot, and their blossom blow away like dust; For they have rejected the Law of the LORD of armies, And discarded the word of the Holy One of Israel.

And the Light of Israel will become a fire and Israel's Holy One a flame, And it will burn and devour his thorns and his briars in a single day.

Now on that day the remnant of Israel, and those of the house of Jacob who have escaped, will no longer rely on the one who struck them, but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel.

Rejoice and shout for joy, you inhabitant of Zion, For great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.

On that day man will look to his Maker And his eyes will look to the Holy One of Israel.

The afflicted also will increase their joy in the LORD, And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

But when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, They will sanctify My name; Indeed, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, And will stand in awe of the God of Israel.

"Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, Stop speaking before us about the Holy One of Israel!"

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says: "Since you have rejected this word And have put your trust in oppression and crookedness, and have relied on them,
